Description:

• Breitling USA desperately needed more room for every function of their headquarters, especially the watch repair operation. An addition was conceived to properly house the watchmakers’ laboratory operation and to free up space in their existing building for office functions to expand.
• The new watchmakers’ laboratory hovers on slender legs over the ground, connected to the existing structure by a pair of glass enclosed bridges.  The central spacious main laboratory, bathed in natural light, provides peaceful, treehouse views from the custom watchmakers’ benches of the surrounding woods.
• Arrayed efficiently around the central lab, dedicated spaces for cleaning, polishing, training, secured storage and an expansive parts operation are supported by virtual clean room environmental controls.
